Adoption Support
Attending counseling does not mean you are "crazy" or defective as a person. In many cases, a mental health diagnosis is not required in order to provide services. We all need a little help to manage difficult situations in life sometimes.

I provide professional mental health counseling services to individuals, couples and families. I see adults, teens and children beginning at age 5. We can address a variety of presenting concerns in counseling.

I am certified by the state of Florida as an Adoption Competent Therapist. A curriculum was designed to educate providers about the trauma often experienced by children prior to adoption and the corresponding behavioral and emotional issues of children during and after adoption. Using the program tools with adoptive parents and families assists them in understanding and managing difficulties in the home, school, and community.
